Bulk upload of users

The Bulk Upload of Users feature in JobPts allows administrators to efficiently add, update, or deactivate multiple users at once by using an Excel file.

This functionality significantly reduces manual entry effort and ensures a streamlined process for managing user records within the platform.

To use the Bulk Upload Users option, navigate to Admin center then Users and select Bulk Upload of Users.

Login to JobPts -> Admin center -> Users -> Bulk upload of Users

    How to Use the Bulk Upload of Users Functionality

    • Download Excel Template
      • Click the "Download Excel Template" button to download a pre-formatted Excel file.
      • This template includes required columns where user data should be entered.
    • Add New Users
      • Fill in the appropriate fields in the Excel template to add new users to the system.
      • Ensure all mandatory fields are completed as outlined in the template.
    • Update Existing Users
      • Updates can only be performed for users that were initially uploaded via Excel.
      • Modify the relevant user details in the Excel file (e.g., job title, email, etc.).
    • Deactivate Users
      • To deactivate users, tick the checkbox labeled "Deactivate Users".
      • Then click the "Deactivate Users" button, followed by confirming the deactivation prompt.
    • Upload the Excel File
      • Once all changes (additions, updates, or deactivations) are made, save the Excel file.
      • Click on the "Bulk Upload of Users" button to upload the updated Excel file.
    • Update Users
      • Finalize the process by clicking the "Update Users" button to apply the changes.

    • History of activities - list of all updated data in the past. Information is generated about the admin who made the update, the number of users that are updated, and when the change occurred.

    In addition, by clicking the Show Users button, an Excel file will be exported with information for users who are updated to a specific date.
