Create a Safe Environment with Anonymous Feedback

Some employees may not feel comfortable being explicitly transparent with their feedback for fear of retaliation or being labeled challenging to work with and there is where anonymous employee feedback comes in.

Not only does anonymity increase transparency, it also highlights workplace challenges and initiates more effective two-way conversations. With anonymous feedback, managers can understand more clearly what they need to do to better support their teams.

To give anonymous feedback, from the home screen navigate to the Feedback tile and then select the โ€œEmployee Feedback" Program.

Under the Feedback Tile all active feedbacks will be listed. Here the user can see if the program type is Give feedback, Request Feedback, or both.

After selecting the Employee Feedback program, you need to select "Behavior(s)" for which you provide feedback to your peer. Under feedback anonymity select 'Yes' for the feedback to be anonymous and search for the colleagues you want to give feedback to.

Feedback is anonymous - Select โ€œYesโ€ if you want the feedback to be anonymous  or select โ€œNo" if you donโ€™t want the feedback to be anonymous. 

Give Feedback to - option to give Individual or Team Feedback.

Individual Filter - multiple individuals can be searched and added. If more than one individual is selected, there will appear the modal for Team Creation and the user can create a team.

Team Filter - this option allows you to send feedback to any existing team simply by searching the Team Name through the list of already created teams and find the desired one.  
* Note: Team Filter will be visible only if the program is marked with Team Feedback.

To proceed on the next step navigate to Add Message button in top-right corner.

On the next screen, feedback details for each selected behavior should be provided. By providing these details, the recipient(s) will know why they're being given feedback.

By clicking on the toggle button next to the selected feedback behavior you can choose between:

Need Development - as constructive feedback based on a specific area that can be improved.

Your Strength - as positive feedback is recognition and praise of excellent work.

After completing the above steps, click on Send Feedback button in upper right corner and Feedback Confirmation screen will be presented.

If the feedback that you are sending is anonymous, the โ€˜Sent Feedbackโ€™ button will not be visible in the upper right corner on the Feedback Confirmation Screen. Additionally, the anonymous feedback sent will not be listed in the Sent Feedbacks tile.
