Multiple regions, infrastructure providers and data centers are available to deploy Semos Cloud solutions
You can deploy applications in different regions. Each region represents a geographical location (for example, Europe, US East) where applications, data, or services are hosted. Regions are provided either by SAP or by the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) partners Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. The third-party region providers operate the infrastructure layer of the regions, whereas SAP operates the platform layer and Cloud Foundry that we need to run our solutions.

Using Google Cloud hyperscaler infrastructure in SAP BTP, the following data centers are supported:
- Europe (Frankfurt),
- US Central (IA)
Note these hyperscaler data centers are all managed by SAP BTP as the Platform as a Service (PaaS) layer that we use to build and run the solutions. Customers typically decide to buy our solution together with the platform (SaaS + PaaS combined), or have the flexibility to deploy it on their SAP BTP accounts only the SaaS subscription of our solution. We cannot deploy the solution on customer's hyperscaler accounts.
