What is the Definition of Employee Metrics?
Outlining the definition of an employee metrics (PEPM / PEPY)
We typically follow the definition of an employee as HCM Cloud vendors do such as SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle Cloud HCM. So far any employee master data record found in the HR Core system is handled as an employee. We can certainly exclude technically and commercially a set of users / employees in the system if there are not eligible for the recognition programs.
In addition, here are some commercial questions and tips to consider:
- Do you also have the same commercial categorization and definition with the HCM Cloud provider when the modules were licensed?
- Do you have perhaps some contingent employees managed in another system (e.g. SAP Fieldglass) and are not reflected in the HCM Cloud system?
- Please provide us a detailed breakdown, so we can further fine-tune the employee metrics if necessary.
