In this article you will learn how to create and manage both non-monetary and monetary employee birthdays in JobPts. This includes setting up birthday messages and awards based on country, company code and org unit. When an employee's birthday arrives, they will receive a specific message in the appโand if itโs a monetary birthday, a specific amount of points for redemption.
Under the Admin Center, there is an option to set the Service Birthdays. Based on the setting, each employee can receive a certain amount of points for their birthday. By setting up specific set of country/company code and/or org unit the entered value will apply for all members that belong in that combination of filters.
Login to JobPts -> Admin Center -> Celebrations -> Manage Birthdays -> Create New Birthday
To access and set the birthdays log in to the JobPts Admin Center. On the left-side panel, click on Celebrations and then Manage Birthdays.

On the following screen, you will see a list of defined birthdays for specific countries with additional preview of the following information:
- Country: The country to which the birthday rules apply
- Company Code: Company Code to which the birthday rules apply
- Org unit - Org Unit to which the birthday rules apply
- Modified by - The person who made the latest changes
- Modified date: Date when the latest changes occurred
To create new birthdays, click on the Create New Birthday button. In this section, you can define the following:
- Country : Select the Country in which the birthday rules are applicable
- Company Code: Select the Company Code in which the birthday rules are applicable
- Org Unit: Select the Org Unit in which the birthday rules are applicable
- Message: Message that the users will see within the application. It is different from the email they receive. To edit the email content, please visit the "Translate Email" page.
*Note: Separate messages can be created for non-monetary and monetary service birthdays.
- At the end, Save the changes you made.

If you would like to edit or delete defined birthday, you can do so by selecting the Actions button for the specific birthday and clicking Edit or Delete from the drop-down menu.

Within the Edit option you can change the defined message & birthday type. After you make the necessary changes, click Save to update.
The Delete button allows you to delete the defined setup for the selected birthday. This action is irreversible.
