Managing personalization tags for your communication

Personalization tags are handy for creating more personal communications, and one of the most known and used tags are the greetings tags. There are many more personalization tags that can be used in your communication.

Tags are built based on EC entities and values that are tied to Companies org Structure and employee attributes.

Login to Nurture Communications -> Admin Center -> Templates -> Personalization tags

For example if you want to send an e-mail that will display the first name of the recipient, we will create a Personalization tag that will tie with the First name attribute from Success Factors. Then we will give this Tag a recognizable name so the Content Generator Expert or the Content Generator can use it in templates and communications.


Steps how to create and use a personalization tags:

Personalization tags are handy for creating communications, but perhaps the most useful one is the greeting one.

To create a new group simply click on the “new group” button.

Then a pop-up window will appear:

Type in a group name. For example, you can type “Greetings” then you click on “Based on

And then you click on “Save

Now you have to create a setting for this group, and you can do this by clicking on Actions -> New settings

This action will redirect you towards creating a new setting.

Then you can fill in the values like the example down below and then you can click on the “Save” button.

After creating the new setting, you can edit/delete it at any time by clicking on the “Edit” or “Delete” button.
