Content Generators can now upload custom .png or .jpg thumbnails in the editor to enhance the visual appeal and recognition of their communications.
Custom Thumbnail Upload for Internal Communications
To give Content Generators more control over how internal communications are presented, an option to upload custom thumbnails is now available in the editor. By incorporating custom thumbnails, content creators can enhance the visual storytelling aspect of their messages, making them more compelling and memorable for the audience.

Accessible directly while creating and editing a communication or campaign, this feature supports .png and .jpg file formatsโmaking it easy to align visuals with messaging and maintain a consistent communication style.
Edit thumbnail feature is available in Actions for a Draft Communication or a Campaign with Draft or Completed status.
Change the thumbnail for a Draft Communication:
Admin > My Communications > Draft communication > Edit
Step-by-Step instructions
- Open Draft Communication
Go to the Admin panel and start creating a new internal communication or edit an existing draft.Image: Edit Draft communication -> Actions dropdown
Open Actions Dropdown > Edit ThumbnailImage: Edit thumbnail pop-up
- Upload a Custom Thumbnail

- Click the Upload thumbnail image text.
- Choose an image file from your device. Supported formats: .jpg, .png.
Image: File browser - The image will be displayed as the thumbnail preview for the communication.

- Click
in the edit thumbnail pop up to upload the thumbnail.
- The Edit thumbnail pop-up will close, and user will be taken back to the familiar edit communication screen.
- Click the Save icon on the Editor screen to complete the change.

- The image will be displayed as a thumbnail preview for the communication.
Note: Clicking in the 'Edit thumbnail' pop-up will reset the previously uploaded thumbnail image.
Change the thumbnail for Completed or Draft Campaign
Content generators can also edit thumbnails from the campaign section.
Admin > Campaigns > Completed/Draft campaign > Actions > Edit thumbnail
This feature makes it easy to align visuals from the Campaign section of the application.
Follow the instructions outlined above to complete the change.
