Payroll Option Configuration for Service Anniversaries

This article will guide admins in enabling the payroll option for Service Anniversaries, offering employees enhanced rewards for their service milestones.

To enable payroll awards for Service Anniversaries, go to the 'Module Configuration' tab in system settings, navigate to the Service Celebrations section, and check the 'Include Payroll Award for Service Anniversary' box.

*Note: By default, this checkbox is disabled.

When enabled, the payroll option will be available in the Service Anniversaries configuration.

To configure Payroll Award for Service Anniversary navigate to:

Once the admin selects the preferred Country/Company Code/Org Unit for creating or editing a service anniversary by clicking the "NEW" button, they can choose "Payroll Award" from the 'Type' dropdown. They must then specify values for both the "Years" and "Award" fields.

Additional option is available once the ‘Message' button is clicked.

When you click the 'Message' button, a modal will appear, allowing you to define the service anniversary message for the "Payroll" type.

*Note: When an employee’s anniversary date arrives, they will receive both an email notification and an in-app notification.

By clicking on the notification the user will be redirected to the corresponding anniversary under ‘My Awards’ tile.

*Note: Points received through payroll will not appear in the 'Redeem' tile, as these points are not eligible for redemption.

Anyway, payroll transactions are included in multiple reports including: Anniversaries, Completed Transactions All, Export Payment and Cross Charing report.
