Create Recognition Program with Predefined Awards

This article will guide you how to setup an automatic product redemption option within a monetary program.

With this feature, employees can send recognition directly to one another, with a reward automatically included in the message. This means the recipient will receive the reward instantly, without needing to redeem it manually afterward.

To link an automatic product redemption to a monetary program, please follow the steps outlined below:

Login to JobPts -> Admin Center - > Programs -> Manage Peer to Peer Programs - > Create New Program -> select Automatic product redeem

To implement the automatic product redemption option within a program, a few prerequisites must be met. This feature is available only for monetary peer-to-peer programs that have predefined reward values (either as a range or fixed steps) and can be linked exclusively to custom products.

The first step in implementing this option is to ensure that your custom products are already created. You can follow our detailed guide on how to create a custom product here

After you have created your custom products, you can proceed forward with creating the monetary program and enabling this option.

Before defining the step or range values for the program, ensure that the minimum and maximum values align with the value of the product being redeemed.

For instance, you cannot set the program's range to be from 1 to 1000 if the product value is only between 1 and 500.

If the program is defined with steps, the minimum and maximum step of the program must not exceed the range value of the product. 
*Note: For each country, you can select only one custom product.

After you have defined the Steps/Range for the program and set the Approval level to 0, click on the Define Products for Countries button to start mapping the products to the countries. 

A new pop-up window will appear, displaying a list of available countries based on the recipients defined for the program. By clicking the downward arrow in the Products field, you can select one of your predefined custom products.

Once you have mapped all the custom products, click the Save button to proceed with the creation of the rest of the program.

Once the program is created, employees can begin using it in the same way as other peer-to-peer programs.

When an employee sends a reward using this type of program, the end recipient will receive the reward automatically, without the requirement of any additional steps to redeem the product.
