Create Recognition Program with Predefined Awards

This article will guide you how to setup an automatic product redemption option within a monetary program.

With this feature, employees can directly send a recognition to between themselves with a reward linked with the message itself. This means that the recipient will directly receive a reward without having to manually redeem it afterward.

For the Automatic product redemption option to be implemented within a program, there are a couple of prerequisites. The option can be applied only to Monetary peer to peer programs, with defined values for the program (range or steps) and can be linked only with custom products.

The first step towards implementing this option is making sure that you have your custom products created. You can follow our detailed guide on how to create a custom product here.

After you've created your custom products, you can proceed forward with creating the monetary program and enabling this option.

Before you define the value for the steps/range for the program, have in mind to have the minimum and maximum value of the steps/range to correspond with the value of the product.

For example, you can't set the range for a program to be from 1-1000 while the product is of 1-500 value.

If the program is defined with steps, the minimum and maximum step of the program must not exceed the range value of the product.

Note that for each country, you can select only one custom product.

After you've defined the Steps/Range for the program and set the Approval level to 0, click on the "Define Products for Countries" button to start mapping the products to the countries.

A new pop-up window will open where you will be listed all of the available countries according to the defined recipients for the created program. By clicking on the arrow pointing downwards button on the Products field, you will be able to select one of your predefined custom products. After you've mapped all of the custom products, click on the Save button and proceed forward with creating the rest of the program.

After you're finished with creating the program, the employees can start using it just like the other peer to peer programs.

When an employee sends a reward using this type of program, the end recipient will receive the reward automatically, without the requirement of any additional steps to redeem the product.
