Enable Two Levels of Approval in Nomination Programs
Introduced a two-level approval process in nomination programs. Nominations requiring approval must exclusively include either individual or team nominees, not a mix. For individual nominees, the approval is handled by the recipient's manager at the specified level. For team nominees, the sender's manager handles the approval at the specified level.
Where can you find it: Admin & Approvals
Accessible for user type: Admin Users & Application > Approvals
Reference documentation: Learn more in our detailed documentation.
Use Case: In a large company, the new two-level approval process ensures only deserving nominees will reach to the ranking phase. Individual nominations require approval from the recipient's manager and then a higher-level manager. Team nominations follow the same process but with the sender's manager. This ensures fairness and integrity, filtering out unqualified nominees and highlighting true excellence.

1:1 Recognition Limit
We have implemented a 1:1 recognition limit, which restricts 1:1 transaction between users while not limiting the overall number of recognitions a user can send or receive. This enhancement encourages diverse recognitions to be shared among all users, ensuring that everyone is included in the recognition process.Where to Find It: Admin Center > Manage Recognition Programs > Create/Edit Recognition Program
Accessible for User Type: All Users
Reference Documentation: Learn more in our detailed documentation.
Use Case: The 1:1 recognition limit encourages a culture of inclusive recognition by restricting 1:1 transactions between users. This means that users are encouraged to share recognitions with a wider audience, promoting a more diverse and inclusive recognition process. By allowing unlimited recognitions overall, users can still send and receive recognition freely, but the focus is on spreading recognition across the entire user base, rather than limited to 1:1 interactions.

Ability to Announce Nomination Winners in Segments
We have introduced the ability to announce nomination winners in segments. When a winner is announced, the row for that winner will be "frozen" to prevent duplicate announcements. However, this does not restrict other admins from announcing winners for different segments or countries that have not yet been announced.
Where to Find It: Admin Center > Manage Nominations > Ranking > Announce Winners
Accessible for User Type: Admin Users
Reference Documentation: Learn more in our detailed documentation.
Use Case: Our client requires the ability to announce nomination winners from each country without limiting the number of announcements. However, this does not restrict other admins from opening the ranking and announcing winners from their respective countries, or even announcing additional winners from the same country if needed.

Status Filter in Manage Nomination Programs Page
We have introduced two new filters on the Manage Nomination Programs page to enhance the user experience. The Nomination Step filter includes the status of the nomination program (Nomination, Voting, Final Ranking, Announcing Winners). The Program Status filter allows users to filter by the program's status (Active, Not Active).Where to Find It: Admin Center > Programs > Manage Nomination Programs
Accessible for User Type: Admin Users
Reference Documentation: Learn more in our detailed documentation.
Use Case: Managing numerous nomination programs can be overwhelming, especially when trying to announce winners. With the new filters, admins can quickly narrow down the list to only those nominations that are active and in the phase of announcing winners. This makes it much easier to find the specific nominations they need, ensuring a smooth and efficient winner announcement process without sifting through an extensive list of programs.

Alert for Message Quality Indicator (MQI)
Introduced an alert for the Message Quality Indicator (MQI). If MQI is activated and the message quality is not in the green zone (i.e., it is in the yellow or red zones), an alert will appear when the user clicks "Send message." This prompt encourages the user to improve the message quality before sending.Where can you find it: Application > Recognize someone
Accessible for user type: All Users
Use Case: End users are not always aware of the MQI, which assists them in composing high-quality messages. This alert ensures that users are aware of the quality indicator, prompting them to revise messages that fall below the green zone. By encouraging improvements before sending, we enhance the overall communication quality.
